Overview

The Rann of Kutch bursts with glorious color and culture during the annual Rann Utsav. Another attraction situated close by is Kala Dungar or Black Hill, Handicraft villages (culture + creativity), Rann Utsav (if visiting during festival season), Local cuisine & camel cart rides, Light adventure & folk activities, etc. 

Itinerary

Day 1: Departure from Pune

Pune campers reporting at the Pugmarks Pune office at 4.00 am to travel by bus to the Bandra Terminus. Mumbai Campers reporting at Bandra Terminal at 10.30 pm. Board train 22903 BHUJ AC SF EXP at 11.45 pm.

Day 2: Road travel to the hotel

Reach Bhuj Station at 12.50 pm. Get transferred to the Resort by private vehicle, check in, Late lunch, relax, and some Leisure time. Evening – Visit the Sunset Point and the breathtaking White Rann. Return to Tent City and enjoy cultural activities.

Day 3: Sightseeing and Adventure Activities

Early Morning, visit the Sunrise Point to witness the beauty of the rising sun over the serene White Rann. After Breakfast, Leisure time/indulge in an exciting range of activities at Skyzilla, Club House, Craft Market/Haat, Various Selfie Points, and many others. Visit to Kala Dungar (Black Hill), and “Gandhi Nu Gaam.

Day 4: Local Sightseeing and Departure

Enjoy morning tea and experience a rejuvenating yoga session in the dedicated area. After Breakfast, check out and proceed for sightseeing at the Smritivan Earthquake Museum. After Lunch, depart for Bhuj Railway Station, a 2-hour journey (approx.) Board train 22904 BDTS SF AC EXP at 4.10 pm, overnight journey.

Day 5: End of Trip

Early morning, reach Bandra Terminus at 5.00 am, Pune campers will proceed further to Pune, and reach the Pugmarks Pune office. End of trip.

Things to Carry List.

1) One haversack and one small shoulder bag

2) Comfortable clothes for the no. of days (track pants, t-shirts, tops, etc)

3) Carry enough winter clothes like a jacket, etc

4) Suitable nightwear, shorts, 3/4 s, one shawl, sweatshirt.

5) Undergarments, towel, napkin/ handkerchief, ladies’ sanitary sets

6) shoes, socks, Sun cap/ hat, water bottle, Fevikwik

7) Water bottle, Personal kit containing toilet accessories, sun screen, cold cream, and odomos. sanitizer

8) Sun glasses, camera, binoculars (optional at your own risk)

9) Personal medicine, if any, with a note explaining doses, time, quantity, etc., with the name of the child. No need to send any extra medicine

10)  Pen, a small diary, a story book

11) Extra polythene bags for dumping used/ wet clothes

12) Around 1000/- for shopping, etc

13) Mobile phones, expensive things allowed at your own risk.

∙ Services of fully trained Pugmarks Volunteers for the duration of the camp

∙ Each camp will have at least one girl volunteer

Exclusions:

∙ Meals during travel to and from.

∙ Personal expenses such as telephones, cold drinks, mineral water, laundry, porter

    charges, etc

∙ Medical, hospitalization, evacuation, and related expenses
