Overview
Explore Sri Lanka’s cultural wonders and natural beauty in this journey from Colombo to Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Bentota. Visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Temple of the Tooth Relic, lush tea plantations, scenic waterfalls, and coastal adventures in Bentota. Experience heritage, spirituality, and thrilling water sports all in one trip.
Day 1:- Drive from Colombo to Sigiriya
Arrival at the Colombo airport and board the bus. Transfer to Sigiriya. En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Evening visit Dambulla cave Temple. Check into hotel and relax. Overnight in Sigiriya.
Day 2:- Sigiriya to Kandy
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Thereafter proceed to Kandy. Sightseeing in Kandy with Gem Gallery visit. Evening visit Temple of Tooth Relic. Late evening witness of cultural show. Check into hotel and relax. Overnight in Kandy.
Day 3:- Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden. Thereafter proceed to Nuwara Eliya. En route visit Hanumanji Temple and Ramboda water fall. Visit Tea factory and plantation. Evening sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya. Check into hotel and relax.
Day 4:- Nuwara Eliya to Bentota
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit Sita Amman Temple. Thereafter proceed to Bentota. En route visit Galle Dutch fort, Visit Turtle hatchery. Evening do boat ride in Madhu River. Check into hotel and relax.
Day 5:- Colombo
Breakfast at hotel. Morning do water sports in Bentota river (optional). Thereafter proceeding to Colombo. Do Colombo sightseeing and city tour. Check into the hotel and relax.
Day 6:- Departure from Colombo
Breakfast at hotel. Drop at airport for departure. Board the flight back home. Trip ends.
Things to Carry List:-
Original and Valid Passport for flight journey.
One haversack and one small shoulder bag (NO TROLLEY BAG OR SUITCASE)
Comfortable clothes for the no. of days (track pants, t-shirts, tops etc) (Avoid Jeans)
Carry at least one jacket.
Suitable nightwear, shorts, 3/4 s.
Undergarments, towel, napkin/ handkerchief, ladies sanitary sets
Sports shoes, socks, floaters, Sun cap/ hat, water bottle, Fevikwik
Water bottle, Personal kit containing toilet accessories, sun screen, cold cream, odomos. sanitizer
Torch with fresh batteries
Sun glasses, camera, binoculars, (optional at your own risk)
Personal medicine, if any, with a note explaining doses, time, quantity etc. with the name of the child, No need to send any extra medicine
Pen, a small diary, a story book
Extra polythene bags for dumping used/ wet clothes
Around 5000/- for meals during travel and for shopping
Mobile phones, expensive things allowed at your own risk.
