CAMP ITINERARY

Age group: 14 to 24 yrs

Overview

Camping, Trekking, Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Valley Crossing, River Rafting and Visit to Hatu Peak.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Pune/Mumbai- Delhi-Shimla Overnight Journey

Reach Airport at 01.00 PM to take a flight to Delhi. Reach Delhi by 4.30 PM and transfer to the AC Luxury bus to reach Shimla.Overnight Journey.

Day 2 – Acclimatization walk up to Bhima Kali Temple

Arrive Camp at Kufri for breakfast. Briefing and orientation. Tent allotment. Discussion on ‘Leave no trace (LNT)’ way of camping. In the evening go for an acclimatization walk up to Bhima Kali Temple. and back to the campsite at Kufri. 

Day 3 – Transfer to Narkanda for Trek to Hatu peak (10565 ft) 

Today, early in the morning after a warm up session and a healthy breakfast, Transfer to Narkanda (54 km) from Kufri. Trek ascends to Hatu peak. Hatu peak is located at an altitude of 3400 m above sea level and one of the highest peaks in Shimla Region.After trek return back to kufri campsite.Enroute visit to High Altitude Training Centre Shilaroo.

Day 4 – Adventure Activities & Heritage walk to Rashtrapati bhawan

Today, after breakfast, engage in Adventure activities like Burma Bridge,Zipline, Valley Crossing,Commando Net & Much more. After lunch Trek to “Retreat” Rashtrapati Bhawan Heritage property. Return back to the campsite in the evening. Evening enjoy some team games and activities

Day 5 – Rafting at Sutlej River  & Visit to Mashobra

Today,  early morning,  after breakfast, we will drive down to Rafting point  for more than a half stretch of Rafting. While coming back, we will be Visiting Naldehra &  Mashobra. On arrival participants will be given some free time to have a bath and get freshen up. Evening is free for participants to enjoy with their friends.

Day 6 – Shimla City tour Shopping  & Departure 

Today,  in the early morning,  after breakfast, visit Indira Tourist Park ,Mini Zoo. After early lunch we will drive down to Shimla sightseeing. After the visit, get transferred to AC Luxury bus to reach Delhi.

Day 7 – ARRIVAL AT DELHI

Arrive New Delhi. Get transferred to Delhi airport to board the respective flights.

Things To Carry

  1. One haversack (50 to 70 ltr) and one small shoulder bag           (NO TROLLEY BAG OR SUITCASE)
  2. Comfortable clothes for the no. of days (track Pants, t-shirts, tops etc) (Avoid Jeans)
  3. Climate would be very cold at Manalii. Carry enough woolen clothes like jacket, monkey camp, hand gloves etc
  4. Suitable nightwear,  one shawl sweatshirt.
  5. Undergarments, towel, napkin/ handkerchief, ladies sanitary sets 
  6. High ankle trekking shoes, socks, floaters, Sun cap/ hat, water bottle, Fevikwik
  7. Water bottle, Personal kit containing toilet accessories, sun screen, cold cream, odomos. sanitizer
  8. Torch with fresh batteries
  9. Sun glasses
  10. Trekking Pole (Optional), camera, binoculars, Mobile phone (At your own risk)
  11. Personal medicine, if any, with a note explaining doses, time, quantity etc. with the name of the child, No need to send any extra medicine
  12. Pen, a small diary, a story book
  13. Extra polythene bags for dumping used/ wet clothes
  14. Around 3000/- for meals during travel and for shopping .
  15. Original photo id for flight, flight journey denied without photo id (Aadhar for Passport)
