Camp Itinerary
Day 1: – Delhi to Shimla
Reach Pune/Mumbai Airport at 08.30 AM to take a flight to Delhi. Reach Delhi by 2.30 PM andtransfer by AC Semi Sleeper bus to reach shimla Overnight Enroute.
Day 2: – Shimla Arrival (Ski equipment & its maintenance)
- Arrival At shimla Transfer to kufri on arrival breakfast. Briefing and orientation,Room allotment.
- Issues of ski Equipment.
- Move to ski slope.
- Lecture on sking & Ski equipment.
- Lecture, Demonstration & Practice of walking, Balancing & sliding on skis on skislope and star turn.
- Lecture, Demonstration & practice on fall & Recovery.
- Dinner overnight stay
Day 3: – History of skiing & different style of skiing
- Revision of the privious day’s lesson
- Climbing techniques i.e. side stepping & herringbone practice.
- Practice stopping methods on moderate slopes.
- Lech on snow Plough
- Dinner overnight stay
Day 4: –Lecture on skiing Terms
- Revision of the previous day’s lesson.
- Practice of snow Plough.
- Lecture demonstration of star Turn.
- Practice Kick Turn.
- Lecture on different type of downhill skiing
- Snow Games without ski i.e. walking,climbing,hip sliding, snow statue and igloo making exercise.
- Dinner overnight stay.
Day 5:- Lecture on Mountain Sickness & Clod Injuries.
- Revision of the previous day’s lesson.
- Lecture, Demonstration & Practice Snow-Plough Turn.
- Practice snow plough trun through gates on stem Turn.
- Lecture and practice on Traverse and Side slip.
- Enjoy camp fire in evening.
- Dinner overnight stay.
Day 6:- Departure
- Revision of the previous day’s lesson.
- Free Skiing Practice
- Practical Test at the slope
- Departure of the group
- Overnight enroute
Day 7:- Delhi Airport
Arrive New Delhi. Get transferred to Delhi airport to board the respective flights.

Things To Carry
- One haversack [50 to 70 liters] and one small Sack. [15 TO 20 liters] (NO TROLLEY BAG OR SUITCASE).
- Comfortable clothes for the entire duration of the camp. (Track Pants, T-Shirts,Sweatshirt, etc.) Suitable nightwear. Avoid Jeans.
- Warm clothing, thermal, Balaclava/monkey cap, woolen socks and gloves.
- Treking shoes with ankle support, one pair of floaters (or alternate footwear).
- Water bottle, Personal Kit containing toilet accessories, sunscreen, cold cream, sanitizer, etc.
- LED Torch with fresh batteries. Sun glasses, [camera, binoculars, optional at your own risk).
- Carry dry fruit, Protein bar and fruits like apple as emergency food during bus travel.
- Personal medicine. No need to carry any extra medicine.
- Pen and a small diary. (Highly Recommended).
- Around 3000/- for meals during travel and for shopping.
- We recommend you send as little technology with the camper as possible.
- Aadhar card/Passport as personal ID for Flight Travel.
